“As I’m in contact with the IRD on a daily basis, I’m more than happy to do so on behalf of any client who doesn’t feel comfortable talking to them, or doesn’t have time to spend away from their businesses. For example, if clients have difficulty meeting their tax obligations by the due date, I set up a payment plan which is acceptable for both the client and the IRD, resulting in significantly reduced penalty charges; no one wants to pay more than necessary to the IRD!”
